Chennai. After Udhayanidhi Stalin’s anti-Hindu remark at a conference held in Chennai, several complaints were filed with the police, demanding the cancellation of the permission granted for the anti-Sanatan conference.
On Saturday, September 2nd, Udhayanidhi Stalin attended the conference and compared ‘Sanatan Dharma’ to diseases like ‘dengue’ and ‘malaria’, suggesting that it should be eradicated. This provocative speech received criticism from several leaders, including K. Annamalai and other national figures.
Meanwhile, Ramakrishnan, the Tamil Nadu state coordinator of Hindu Munnani, filed a case with the Chennai Commissioner, urging the cancellation of the permission granted to the anti-Sanatan conference due to its members’ provocative remarks. He pointed out that several Dravidian leaders, including N. K. Veeramani and actress Rohini, who attended the conference, frequently make intentional anti-Hindu remarks. The conference’s objective appears to be defaming the Hindu religion, which goes against the Constitution of India. The complaint calls for action to be taken against those responsible.
Strong public anger is mounting in response to Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks.
BJP President Annamalai also asserted that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s statement demonstrates that the DMK is a communal party seeking support from Muslim and Christian voters, likening his remarks on ‘Sanatan Dharma’ to a genocidal call.
