Swadharam Sammelan held at Borum ground, Naharlagan with a large number of participants from different sects’, indigenious faith organization accross Papum pare and Keyi Panyor Districts. Dr. Byabang Rana conveyed the objective of the Swadharam Sammelan along with welcome address to the keynote speaker Arun Kumar ji, Dr. Emi Rumi, President IFSCAP, Smti Yapi Kodak, State Coordinator Mahila Samanvay and other resource personal and dignitaries.
The Swadharam sammelan had started with preist (shaman) chanting with a Bodo ritual prayer.
During the sammelan, Smti Yapi Kodak, State Coordinator Mahila Samanvay briefed the role and values of family. She precisely stated the family is the smallest unit of the society, if the family is united and disciplined then the society will be discipline and united. Further she apprised the gathering that every family member should have a meal together in a week by keeping mobile phone aside and discussing about the old age culture, festivals in own dialogue.
As the guest speaker of the Swadharam Sammelan, Dr. Emi Rumi, President IFCSAP informed that AFRA 1978 was implemented peacefully during Union Territory time at Ziro and Tirap. However, in the recent few decades a false narrative has been circulated that the AFRA is to be implemented yet.
Arun Kumar Ji, conveyed the participants that the RSS is celebrating its 100 years in the service of the nation and society on this occasion, Sangh has decided to held 30 Swadharam sammelan in different location in the state. He also informed that the goal of RSS is to transform the society through the man making nation building. Also, he acknowledged the participants about PANCH PARIVARDAN (Five Element of Social Change) adopted by the RSS as the mark of centenary celebration for the wellbeing of the society.
