Alappuzha, Kerala. A woman and her family in Alappuzha donated land and a house worth crores of money to Deseeya Seva Bharati as a tribute to their services to the needy. The woman, Rajamma Balarajan donated the assets in memory of her late husband, Balarajan, at Pullangadi Patanayar Poothura house in Champakulam, Kuttanad.
In a ceremony held at the Devikshetra auditorium in Padippurakkal, Champakulam, Rajamma Balarajan presented the title deed of 98 cents of her land and a house to RSS Sabarigiri Vibhag Sanghachalak CP Mohanachandran. Deseeya Seva Bharati Kerala Vice President Dr. Krishnan Namboothiri honored Rajamma with a Mangalapatram (certificate of gratitude) in recognition of her contribution to Seva Bharati.
Rajamma emphasized that she donated the property without any conditions attached, expressing her desire for beneficial community activities to be carried out on the donated land.
Rajamma resides in America with her sons Sunil Rajan and Saji Rajan.
