A student of RSM SNDP College, Koyilandy, was injured after an alleged attack by SFI activists. C.R. Amal, a second-year student of the college, was the assaulted. The student, who sustained injuries to his eyes and nose, has been admitted to the medical college hospital. He was beaten up by the SFI unit secretary and around 20 others.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon. Amal stated that around 20 people called him outside the college and beat him up. He also mentioned that he filed a complaint against the SFI activists with both the college principal and the Koyilandy police station.
As per JanamTV’s report, students reveal that most SFI-run colleges are like this. Siddharth, a second-year student of Pookode Veterinary College, Wayanad, was found dead on February 18th. He was subjected to brutal beating and a mob trial by SFI workers. The police have arrested 18 people as suspects in Siddharth’s death. He was tied to a chair in the hostel courtyard and brutally beaten with a belt and cable wires.
In another assault incident by SFI, students of Pattambi Sanskrit College, got severely injured.
