Pathanamthitta. Thiruvalla first class Magistrate court has issued an order to file a case against KT Jaleel MLA over his reference to Azad Kashmir. The case was taken ahead following a complaint filed by Arun Mohan. Police filed a case against KT Jaleel over his reference to Azad Kashmir after court order.
Arun had filed a complaint against KT Jaleel soon after he published the facebook post but the police had not taken any action against that. This made him approach the court. In complaint, he requested the court to charge the case against Jaleel. Considering this, the Judge Reshma Sasidharan ordered to file case against Jaleel.
Earlier, the same court issued order to file case against the former minister Saji Cheriyan, over his comment against the Indian Constitution.
Arun filed the complaint on Saturday.
Jaleel expressed his controversial reference on his facebook post on Jammu Kashmir visit. He called Pak occupied Kashmir (PoK) as Azad Kashmir and also called Jammu Kashmir as Indian occupied Kashmir.
