New Delhi. ABVP held nationwide protests to strongly oppose the deadly Jihadi attack on unarmed ABVP karyakartas in Kailashahar, Tripura while engaged in membership drive on Friday (29th October), and demanded immediate arrests of all the culprits involved in the life-threatening attack.
During the membership drive at RKI School in Kailashahar, Tripura, a Jihadi gang stabbed Sibaji Sengupta, Kailashahar Nagar Secretary of ABVP, with knife in an attempt to physically harm him. Outraged by this Jihadi violence, the student community across India strongly condemns this attack and demands immediate arrest and stern punishment to Mohammad Nazmul Islam and all other culprits.
ABVP keeps raising its voice from time to time for the cause of students and in the interest of nation, which worries the anti-national elements who cowardly carry out such acts to intimidate ABVP Karyakartas engaged in the service work. On Saturday, students of various colleges in Agartala took out a rally in protest of the incident. The deep tentacles of the Jihadis are still evident as the culprits of this attack are still at large.
National General Secretary of ABVP Nidhi Tripathi said, “We are all shocked by the incident in Tripura. Efforts to intimidate us with such attacks will never succeed. Such incidents make us even more determined towards the goal of rebuilding our nation. It is their utter misconception if the Jihadis think that they can deviate us from our path by such bodily attacks. Every ABVP karyakarta is standing like a family with the injured worker, and is ready to fight people with anti-national and inhuman mentality.”
