New Delhi, Jun 30: PM Narendra Modi on Friday took a ride on the Delhi Metro to reach Delhi University, where he attended the closing ceremony of the varsity’s centenary celebrations as the chief guest. While addressing the Delhi University event, the prime minister later shared his experience of metro travel and said he discussed many topics, including OTT and new series, with the students.
“Like students here, I traveled by metro today. Students have a lot to talk about. From discussing science topics to new series on OTT, they don’t leave any subjects,” PM Modi said at Delhi University. “They will talk about everything under the sun…kaun is film dekhi OTT par wo series achhi hai… wo wali reel dekhi ya nahi dekhi (Which film did you watch? That web series on OTT is good? Did you see that reel or not?). There is an ocean of topics to discuss,” the prime minister said.
PM Modi also took to Twitter and shared glimpses of his metro ride, stating he was “happy to have youngsters” as his co-passengers. At Delhi University on Friday, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of three buildings and released a set of coffee table books. These buildings are for the faculty of technology, a computer center, and an academic block, and these will be 7+1 storeyed with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan was the guest of honor for the ceremony. DU South Campus Director Prakash Singh said the university has a computer center but it is only two-storeyed.
