Guwahati: Mrityunjayee Veer – Uttar Poorvanchal Ki Balidanee Gatha, a book that documents the struggle & sacrifices of a number of social crusaders in northeast Bharat, was recently released by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) secretary general (Sarkaryavah) Dattatray Hosabale in the city.
Published by Prachi Prakashan and penned by Sandeep Kavishwar, who has been serving as an RSS Pracharak in the alienated region for the last 20 years and currently associated with Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram as an Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sangthan Mantri, the book describes the supreme sacrifices of twelve heroes for the sack of national integration.
They faced a daunting task to work in the region, which was once a breeding ground of separatist elements thanks to some selfish & irresponsible intellectuals and media persons, but finally they succeeded. It was a difficult time when speaking about Swadharma and Bharatiatwa in this part of the country was too perilous, and those heroes worked here to finally change the public narratives.
The native volunteers stood firm with the RSS Pracharaks, who came from various parts of India to this region to serve the motherland. With their sustained efforts, more indigenous people started joining the mission as full-time workers. The commitment of dedicated workers ultimately helped in eroding space for anti-national elements, mostly perpetrated by the insurgent outfits in the region.
The book release function was also graced by Sunil Deshpande (Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sampark Pramukh), Ulhas Kulkarni (Kshetra Pracharak), Rajendra Singha (Kshetra Karyavah), Vasishta Bajurbarua (Sah Kshetra Pracharak) along with the author and distinguished personalities.
