Sangh Shiksha Varg curriculum changed
Nagpur, 15th March.
The founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the first Sarsanghchalak Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar had remarked that, “RSS is the organisation of the entire society”. We are experiencing it since the last 99 years. The reach is evident from the expansion of Sangh’s work since 2017. The work of the RSS is ongoing in 99 percent districts of the nation. This was stated by the Sah Sarkaryawah of the RSS Dr. Manmohan ji Vaidya, here during the press briefing at the Swami Dayanand Saraswati premises of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) being held in Reshimbag, Nagpur. Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil ji Ambekar was also present on the dias.
Both the Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh of RSS Narendra Kumar Ji and Alok Kumar Ji were also present.
While briefing the media about the expansion of the Sangh’s work, he informed that the Sangh Rachana (structure) has 45 Prants across the nation followed by Vibhag, Districts and then Khands. RSS has 73,117 daily shakhas in 922 districts, 6597 khands and 27,720 mandals, each mandal comprising 12 to 15 villages. The number of Shakhas has witnessed a year-on-year growth of 4,466. These Shakhas include 60 percent students and 40 percent of working karyakartas. Out of these, the shakhas for Swayamsevaks in the forty plus age group come to 11 percent. There are 27,717 saptahik Milan which is an increase of 840 than the previous year. The present number of Sangh Mandali is 10,567. Ten thousand Bastis in towns and cities have 43 thousand shakhas.
Mahila Samanvaya
There have been 460 Mahila Samanvaya programmes in 44 prants and were attended by 5 lac 61 thousand women from Rashtra Sevika Samiti and the women in different organisations. This is vital in view of the centenary year of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and it aims to enhance the women’s active participation in Bharatiya chintan and social transformation.
Ahilyabai Holkar’s birth tercentenary year is to be observed between May 2024 and April 2025. The society knows little about great Ahilyabai’s works who rebuilt religious places and also strived hard for the economic self-reliance of the deprived. Efforts are on to spread awareness across the nation about her contribution. Swayamsevaks will also go door to door for raising awareness about cent percent voting, Dr. Manmohan Ji Vaidya said.
Ramlalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya also saw a massive outreach program by the Sangh. The Akshat distribution campaign witnessed 44 lac 98 thousand 334 Rambhakts including Swayamsevaks reaching out to 19 crore 38 lac 49 thousand and 71 families across 5,78,778 villages and 4,727 nagars. The encouraging response and the warm welcome received everywhere was reassuring for the confidence about the RSS within the society, Dr. Manmohan ji said.
