Sangh firmly stands with the citizens residing in the border regions – Sarkaryavah Ji

Bhuj, Gujarat (07 November, 2023).

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale ji said that in view of the security of border areas across the country, efforts will be made through Seema Jagran Manch regarding health facilities, education, security, self-reliance, civic duty in these areas and this work will be carried forward at greater speed. Special efforts will also be made to increase coordination with local civil and security forces in the border areas.

The meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ended today on 07 November at Bhuj. According to Sangh structure, 357 representatives of 45 provinces and 11 regions including Sanghchalaks, Karyavahs, Pracharaks, all members of executive committee and representatives from different organizations.

In the press conference on the last day of the meeting, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale ji said that a huge movement of national identity has taken place during life time. The work of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is almost completed. Shri Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha is going to take place in the newly constructed temple on 22nd January. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has invited the respected Sarsanghchalak ji and the Prime Minister. To ensure that people across the country become witnesses of this historic moment from January 1 to January 15, swayamsevaks will conduct door-to-door sampark Abhiyan inviting people across the country carrying pictures of Shri Ram Lalla and worshiped Akshat provided by Shri Ram Janmabhumi Teerth Kshetra.

He said that on the occasion of the centenary year, an effort has been made to present issues like social harmony, rural development, environmental protection, Gau sewa and kutumb Prabodhan before the society. First, it should be practiced in their own life as well as Shakha also. Therefore, to unite the society through social harmony, cultural values should be passed on to the next generation through family education, in the context of environmental protection, planting trees, reducing the use of single use plastic and conserving water. In Jodhpur province of Rajasthan, Sangh workers travelled 14,000 km and planted 15 lakh trees. Plan to plant one crore saplings through seed ball method in Karnataka. He said that the lifestyle of all the citizens of the country should be indigenous, and they should bring discipline in their lives by following their civic duty.

He told, that the training curriculum of the Sangh have been changed, in which the curriculum will be different for every age group including youth and adults. Apart from intellectual and physical, practical training will be given to contribute directly in various fields of social life during shiksha varg.

He said that we also discussed other topics in the meeting. There are two types of work of the Sangh, one is shakha based, the work of character building in the society has been carried out by the Sangh with great insistence for 98 years. One perspective of Sangh is to do sewa for society. On the other hand, character building of swayamsevak, through which a person who stands for the country is created in every colony and locality. At present the number of daily and weekly shakhas across the country is 95528. The target has been set to extend the Sangh work to 59060 Mandals of the country by the centenary year. People of all age groups come to the shakha. Generally, swayamsevaks do not have membership in the Sangh. This year, more than 37 lakh swayamsevaks participated in Guru Pujan, who are swayamsevaks belonging to our daily Shakha.

He said that the meeting of the Karyakari Mandal is held twice a year, one in the month of March before Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), second one is Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) between Dussehra and Diwali.

In the press conference, he recalled the catastrophic earthquake of 2001 and recalled the rehabilitation and service work inspired by the Sangh, which is still going on continuously with the efforts of swayamsevaks and the cooperation of the society. The Swayamsevak of Saurashtra-Kutch assist in the schemes running in remote Assam and Tripura, this work of connecting the ends of the east and west is important.

The swayamsevak of Saurashtra province have warmly welcomed the members. The hospitality tradition of Kutch was visible in the welcome. Sarkaryavah Ji also expressed gratitude to the Trust of Leva Patel Samaj of Kutch, the venue of the meeting.

Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar ji, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Prachar Pramukh Narendra Thakur ji, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh Alok Kumar ji was also present during the press conference.
