Nagaland stuck by COVID19
The Dimapur resident who was tested positive and became the first COVID19 patient in Nagaland, is showing improvement after treatment in Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). This was informed by Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom through his tweeter handle on Monday night. He wrote- “Updated jst now from Ghy: the condition of the first patient from Dimapur who was tested +ve at Guwahati Medical College yesterday is improving. His father’s sample was tested Negative on the first test.

Nagaland’s first COVID19 case was referred by a Private Hospital in Dimapur to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Upon his arrival in GMCH he was tested immediately and later he was found to be positive for COVID19 on Sunday. And this patient from Dimapur in Nagaland became the first COVID19 patient of the state. Now he is under the supervision of the doctors in Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and he is showing signs of improvement. This was stated by Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his tweeter handle on COVID19 update. He further said, the hospital in Dimapur referred the patient to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) after he developed symptoms of Coronavirus.
