RSS Sarsanghchalak to release centenary edition of Sree Narayana Smriti
Kochi, Kerala. Proclaiming the ideals of social and spiritual unity, the Kurukshetra Prakashan is all set to publish the centenary edition of Sree Narayana Smriti on February 5. This momentous release will take place during the Hindu Ekta Sammelan, which is organized as a part of the Ayiroor-Cherukolpuzha Hindu Matha Parishad. In the presence of tens of thousands of participants, RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji will officially launch the book.
This centenary edition, published as a continuation of the past nine years of Sree Narayana Dharmotsavam, features an exceptional commentary titled ‘VedaJyoti Vyakhyanam’ by the renowned Sanskrit scholar Acharya Dr. G. Anandaraj. The introduction, penned by the head of Shivagiri Mutt, Swami Sachidananda, highlights the depth and originality of this interpretation, shedding new light on the life philosophy advocated by Gurudevan.
The last of Sree Narayana Guru’s great works, Sree Narayana Smriti encapsulates the essence of his teachings. First published through the Shivagiri Mutt, this scripture has served as a guiding light for followers of Sanatan Dharma. The book profoundly articulates Gurudevan’s timeless vision – “One Caste, One Religion, One God for Humankind”. Addressing social issues such as unemployment and superstitions, Sree Narayana Guru emphasized the importance of Dharmic education as a solution. This sacred text, which embodies his vision, remains more relevant than ever in today’s world.
